4-6 April 2008 - The first weekend of Spring Break we headed North to the Himalayan foothills for some white water rafting.

It's too early We headed to the train station at 5:30 in the morning. When the train arrived at our stop in Haridwar only half of our group got off before the train started rolling again. Uncle Donny got to "catch" several kids that were thrown off by their parents in the panic. HOORAY for Uncle Donny!	Catching a train	Washing in the Ganges

He was awesome and made our trip that much better!	A Rappelling I'll admit, I thought she'd be too scared to do this. She surprised me and went down twice. There was a Marine up there with us who was terrified and waiting until my kids had gone down before going himself. He wouldn't do it again.

Sunrise on Day 3 I don't have any Day 2 pictures, it was too rainy in the morning, and after rafting I was too sick. UGH!	The Rocky beach After rafting on the 3rd day, we body surfed up to the beach. Needless to say, it was a challenge getting out of the water.	Z skipping rocks
Here comes the sun! We were so happy to have sun on that last day, we were able to dry out much of our soaked laundry and warm up our bones from the freezing river.	Kids on the raft Kids under 12 were not allowed on the rapids, so they gave them this chance for a ride around the beach for a while.	The Beautiful River
