Our camp |
We stayed at the Pushkar Fort. They had several hotel rooms, but we opted to stay in the "Deluxe Swiss Tents." They had beds and separate "bathrooms" with running cold water and "toilets." We had to bucket flush the toilets and bucket bath, but it was actually really enjoyable. |

10 rupees? ... Soap? |
All the gypsy kids were asking for 10 rupees...if we replied "no" they would ask for soap. Dave couldn't suppress the need to say they were asking for "fancy creams and lotions." (That's a Nacho quote) |

A Camel Fair... |
literally! There was a section of the fair that was really a fair with rides and everything. They even parachuted guys over the "stadium" each day we were there. Much to my children's dismay... we avoided the fair. Like I've said before: "OSHA" doesn't live here! |

Real India... |
unfortunately, this is what a lot of India looks like. The inside of people's homes are usually very clean, but right outside looks like a war zone... as one man said to Dave who asked him about his littering: "It is our tradition." |
