This was the North Gate where we entered the Jammu Masjid Mosque. It is India's largest active mosque. |

|
The plaza was scorching hot on our feet. Shoes had to be removed in respect, and the hot stone forced our visit to be brief. |

NORTH MINARETTE |

Two huge minarettes flanked the front of the mosque. Women had to have a male escort to climb to the tops. Loudspeakers for prayers and sermons can be seen high on the outer wall. |
