Cochin Day 1

Check out our cab!

The whole cab was decked out like this... it was sweet! We had a 45 minute cab ride from the airport to our hotel in Cochin.

Where we stayed...

It had seven rooms, all very old, but quite charming. It was the first of many cold showers that week.

We rented "scootys" (as they call them in India) for the day and enjoyed getting acquainted with Ft. Cochin.

These are called Chinese Fishing nets, they are raised and lowered with a series of large rocks and ropes.
